well also about a week ago i noticed this

A lot of us are really looking forward to new additions to our Bakugan collections, and so we're all excited to find out when the next set of the Bakugan series will be released. There's nothing definite yet, except that the set is slated to be out this year. It could be early this year, or it could be later. There's a whole lot of waiting for us to do till the new Bakugan are out, that's for sure. For now, theres only names.

The new set of Bakugan introduces a universal weapons system, where the Bakugan will have tabs and a magnet in their back when they are opened from their closed ball form. The Bakugan will be able to use "Weapon Traps," which are apparently still a tentative part of the set. We'll see.

Another interesting news that comes with the new set is regarding the color of the Darkus Bakugan. Particularly, the secondary color, which will be changed from purple to green, like this:
