All Bakugan All The Time

Spin Master displayed a wide line-up of Bakugan toys at the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair in January. Here is a review of what they displayed.

Bakugan Cards. Will be available in three sizes for 2009. They will come in 5, 10, and 30-piece packs. Since the cards are larger than regular playing cards, special Bakugan Card Binders will be introduced, with Bakugan graphics, and oversize card sleeves. Bakugan Binders will include a bonus card.

Bakugan Card Game with dice has already been introduced Fall 2008.

Collector Figures these 2" figures look more detailed than before. They will also come in Character Packs. These packs will consist of one 2" figure, one Bakugan ball, and one Card, all themed to the same character.

Deluxe Battle Monsters - are all-new 5" figures. These will be detailed action figures with accessory weapons. Look for them this Fall.

Bakuclips - were introduced in 2008 and will continue.

The Bakucase - is a rectangular plastic carrying case with handle. It will include one exclusive ball, and will hold 24 balls, or less and some cards. The Bakucase will come in three colors. Red, Green, and Clear.

The Bakutin - was introduced in 2008, and will continue. It holds 18 balls and cards.

The BakuSphere is new and looks pretty cool. Its a 12" ball-shaped carrying case, featuring shiny metal with embossed Bakugan graphics. It will hold 12 balls and some cards, and will come with three exclusive balls.

The Maxus Drago Pack reminds us of Power Rangers. It consists of six Trap Bakugan and one Round Bakugan. Put them together to make the Maxus Drago Action Figure.

B2 Bakugan will be the standard (1 1/4") size Bakugan for 2009, to match season 2 of the show. The 1" Bakugan will no longer be produced.

Role Play Toys - We will see a Baku Gauntlet in 2009, and it matches an item that will appear in series 2 of the show. This is an electronic device you wear on your arm. It will have an on-board calculator, a sleeve to hold cards, and a Power Booster button.

The Hand Launcher continues for 2009.

Deca Bakugan continue in 2009.
